Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our hotel in Ilford, Cranbrook. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Manage reservations, including processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
- Operate the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) for all guest-related transactions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and lobby.
- Process payments and manage daily cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Provide local information and recommendations to guests regarding attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior experience with a hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Fluency in additional languages.
