Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Concierge to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for our premises in London. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of occupants and visitors, managing access, and providing exceptional front-line service. You will be the first point of contact, embodying professionalism and vigilance while upholding security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of access control, including visitor registration, badge issuance, and escorting as required.
- Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment to identify and respond to potential threats or incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, identifying and reporting any security breaches, hazards, or maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, following established procedures.
- Provide a high level of customer service, assisting visitors and occupants with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
- Collaborate with building management and emergency services during critical situations.
Required Skills:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence is essential.
- Proven experience in a security or customer service-focused role, preferably within a corporate or high-end residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergency situations.
- Proficient in using security technology, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels.
- Basic First Aid certification is highly desirable.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience as a concierge or in a similar front-of-house security role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
