1. About us and these terms
The website and platform are operated by First European Recruitment Limited (“FER”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14894777. Our registered office is 2nd Floor Suite-8, Cranbrook House, 61 Cranbrook Road, Ilford, England, IG1 4PG.
These terms govern access to the public website, user accounts, job listings, candidate profiles, messaging, matching and related digital features. They do not by themselves create an employment relationship, agency-worker assignment, offer of work or contract for recruitment services.
2. Website availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict any part of the website for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption where practicable.
Information on the website is provided for general information and recruitment support. You should verify important role, employer, immigration, tax, salary and contractual information before relying on it.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 and legally capable of using the relevant service. Some roles or services may require you to be 18 or older.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account.
- You must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a security incident.
- You may not create a misleading identity, impersonate another person or use an account without authority.
We may verify account information and may refuse, restrict or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms or prevent fraud or misuse.
4. Candidate and worker terms
Candidate registration and use of the platform are not a guarantee of an interview, assignment or employment. You are responsible for ensuring that your CV, profile, qualifications, availability, right-to-work information and other submissions are accurate and not misleading.
You authorise us to use your profile and application information to provide recruitment services in accordance with our Privacy Policy and your profile settings. Before accepting a role, you should review the identity of the employer, duties, location, hours, pay, employment status and applicable written terms.
Never pay an employer or unknown person for a job offer through an unverified channel. Report suspicious messages or listings to us immediately.
5. Employer and recruiter terms
Employers and recruiters must have authority to post roles and contact candidates. Job advertisements must be genuine, accurate, lawful and sufficiently clear about the role, location, requirements and remuneration where required. You must not post discriminatory, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful content.
Candidate information may be used only for legitimate recruitment, selection, engagement and workforce purposes. Employers are responsible for their own legal duties, including equality, immigration, employment, agency-worker, health and safety, tax and data protection obligations. Access to a candidate profile does not transfer ownership of that information or permit unrelated marketing.
Any placement fee, staffing arrangement, service level, guarantee period or commercial commitment applies only where agreed in separate written terms.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break any law, infringe another person’s rights or submit content you do not have permission to use;
- post false roles, pyramid schemes, unlawful work, abusive content, malware or deceptive links;
- scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract candidate, employer or platform data without written permission;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe security, interfere with the service or gain unauthorised access;
- send spam, unsolicited marketing or harassing communications through the platform;
- reverse engineer or misuse the website except to the extent the law expressly permits.
We may remove content, limit messaging, suspend access or report activity where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
7. User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FER a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display and share that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service and provide the recruitment features you request. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful backups, records or copies already shared within a recruitment process.
FER and its licensors own the website design, software, branding and original content. You may use the platform for its intended purpose but may not reproduce or commercially exploit our materials without permission.
8. AI, scoring and matching tools
Automated features may generate job descriptions, summaries, suggestions, translations, suitability indicators or candidate matches. Outputs can be incomplete, biased or incorrect and must not replace appropriate human assessment. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before use and for ensuring recruitment decisions are lawful, fair and based on relevant criteria.
FER does not guarantee that an automated score predicts job performance or suitability. We may change or withdraw automated features as technology and legal requirements develop.
9. Paid services
Where a paid plan or service is available, the price, billing period, taxes, trial terms, renewal, cancellation rights and included features will be shown before you commit or set out in a separate order form. You are not required to pay solely because you browse pricing information. Business customers must pay valid invoices in accordance with the agreed commercial terms.
We may change future prices or plan features, but changes will not retrospectively alter an existing agreed billing period without notice or agreement as required by law.
10. Third-party services and links
The platform may link to employer websites, payment services, maps, communication tools or other third-party services. We do not control their content, security or availability and are not responsible for them. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy information.
11. Disclaimers and liability
FER acts as a recruitment and platform service and does not guarantee the identity, conduct, solvency or performance of every user, the accuracy of every listing, or the outcome of any application or engagement. Users must carry out appropriate checks and make their own informed decisions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the previous paragraph, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, profit, revenue, business, data or reputation arising from use of the public website. For paid business services, any additional liability limits will be set out in the applicable written agreement. These terms do not affect mandatory consumer rights.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website and request account closure at any time, subject to records we must retain. We may suspend or terminate access where there is a serious or repeated breach, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment under an agreed service, or where required by law. Provisions intended to continue after closure, including intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law, will survive.
13. Changes, governing law and disputes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law or security requirements. The effective date identifies the current version. If a change materially affects registered users, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that a consumer may have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. No person other than you and FER has a right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
